Asus 1005pe, Best Netbook to purchase. No complaints. Beyond my expectations. 10 + hours battery life, fast, small, and seems very nice. The keyboard is pleasant to write, its easier than any other netbook I've tried. And I initially bought the Walmart special "machines" for $ 228 plus tax, was a lot 'of computers, but no special features and the battery is horrible. I really wanted this model itself, so I ordered my eMachines and returned to Walmart, I'm glad I did. Asus Netbook my business in the world. The 10-inch screen is bright and crisp. YouCam is webcam added fat to use. Lots more storage space online. USBS 3, RGB, headphone / microphone jack, SD card reader and speakers. And people, you can change the background image on the Asus netbook, read your book before you complain. Using eedock you can change the background, and even use as wallpaper change every minute 5,10,15, etc. If he did not know check it out. I love this computer, and I have absolutely no complaints. Some people may not like the trackpad structured, in fact I happen to like. I have a lot of research and comparison, and this is one to get hands down. I ask that you buy now.

Are you looking for a laptop computer? Did you know that there may be less expensive alternatives? Depending on your situation, cheap netbooks could be the answer. Here are things to consider.
What is a netbook?
A netbook is miniature version of a laptop computer. They are also known as mini laptops and subnotebooks. They are considerably lighter than a full size laptop. There is no set standard of screen size and weight for a netbook. Many of these tiny laptops are close to half the size of some standard laptops. They are intended for internet access and simple computer tasks. This can provide maximum portability.
X, Able to install Ubuntu Netbook Remix yet. Keyboard does not work and there was a kind of kernel error. Will probably be a solution as soon as these are very popular netbook.
100 GB on drive C: and 122 GB hard drive D: is what I found in Windows 7. Ubuntu disk partition manager said something like 100 GB Windows 7 loaders, 10 GB Windows Vista for some reason. Probably still has to clean and reinstall.

Does More Than I Thought It Would, I looked at the Netbook and notebook computers for over a month, and I probably spent more time than is reasonable or sane about the whole project - simply because I wanted to be able to travel lighter than before, and have a computer that could still make the most of what I need.

Eventually I bought the 1005PE because its battery life, processor, and is the keyboard, mouse and neglected (which I have come to regard as acceptable).
