One Of The Best Decisions I’ve Made., I tend to consider myself very methodical when it comes to buying electronics, and buy my netbook was no exception. I wanted to major shipyards, performance, battery life, and value. An order of height at all. But that's why I chose 1005PE-MU17. For reference, here are other considerations that I had in mind before they settled on 1005PE-MU17.
1) Asus PU17-1005PE ($ 372)
2) HP 5102 ($ 400 +)
3) Toshiba NB305-410 ($ 400)
In this video, I answer a question from LDStarling, who asks “Do you think netbooks are useful?”. Great question LDStarling! Usefulness definitely depends on the individual but I find that they are useful for convenience. The small footprint allows you take it almost anywhere. You give up CPU power and HD storage for convenience. I find that netbooks are best used when they are unplugged so the battery life becomes an issue the more you get attached. My main tasks on my netbook are: web mail, web surfing, social networking, and bible study. For me, it’s definitely useful and if you do any of the similar activities, you’ll get some use out of a netbook. Thanks LDStarling for the question!

Very Performant Netbook, The dual core Atom works very well. I do not feel the system response slow, while processing a heavy workload. And 'the Netbook faster now (over ION is Nvidia GPU). However, there are three complaints (1) The disk driver does not play the sound, sometimes remind me of the engine failure of units in some way. (2) The battery is loosely attached to the body. (3) the battery is fully charged can last for 3.5 hours.

Exactly Why I Expected, The device works exactly as advertised. Easy connection to our 802.11n network - the speed is very good. We like the device in addition to our large Plazma TV and Stream Netflix via HDMI. Great works - nice and smooth. Battery life is what we expected - slightly shorter than any other battery life is more than compensated with the graphics and larger screen. This is buy a netbook.
